Center Pipes For The Eisenmann Race (550i)

I am constantly looking for a great center pipe for my 550i. I have the Eisenmann Race exhaust and was bummed when I found out the Eisenmann M5 Center Pipe wasn't compatible.

Are there any aftermarket center pipes that are compatible with my exhaust system?

I'm wanting my car to have a little more bite. The Eisenmann Race exhaust is so quiet!

Thanks!

I was thinking same way with my Eisenmann race exhaust. I did lots of research and finally went for straight pipe deleting resonator. You can definitly hear more turbo lagging + sound. I would say about 30~40 percent more sound than just the eisenmann alone. Im happy and so is my brother Nobleman. It only cost $150 any reasonable muffler shop can do it in 30 mins. Good Luck.

Any change in the tone (not volume, but actual sound). Was it the same, just louder? How about droning?

What about the SuperSprint center pipes? Not sure if they mount up to the rear mufflers you have, but surely they could be modded to work. SS offers both straight and resonated pipes.

Thanks for replying. I've inquired about that before, but never received a straight answer.

I get the feeling it'll be better to go the custom route.

Sound is same. Just the volume went up much higher. Droning is still there but my self dont really care about it. I actually enjoy the loud sound and droning really doesnt bother me too much. With paddle shifter, its awesome man if u want it louder with same tone, go for it. It dont cost too much at muffler shop and if u dont like, u can always put the stock resonator back on.

Deep tone and louder sound plus you could hear more turbo lag. I don't usually drive highway with this car, so I really don't know how bad the droning is. will post vid clip soon once all my mods are finish in two weeks. Im almost finish mod for me.

Great, thanks! I do a ton of highway driving to get to work. This is why I asked about droning.

Instead of a straight pipe, would an X-Pipe be any different? Just curious.

I had same question like you! X-pipe makes less sound than straight pipe. That's what i found out from research, auto couture, and kc muffler shop that I went to. My bro nobleman and I seached for times. If you ask how much diffenence, I have no clue. Sure we have better aggressive sound now than before. However, there is limit that our eisenmann race can make even after straight pipe. If you want louder than eisenmann + staight pipe, only answer will be tune and down pipe. All of these will blow away.
