Dinan Shockware - now for a new lower price
Was just browsing Dinan's website and realized they dropped the price of shockware software for those of us with the adaptive shocks!
Used to be $799.... now is $599... and if you catch them on a month were suspension parts are on sale they'll be 15% off and close to $500. Pretty darn good value! They finally released shockware for the F30 as well, and that they sell for $399! |

That's a great price! Figure about 1/2hr dealer labor cost to install it.
I have the Shockware on my 550i and am pleased with it. NOTE: When upgrading to Shockware, you'll loose the "comfort plus" and "comfort" mode on your EDC. Instead, the default is "comfort" mode on start up and will now feel like the original OEM "sport mode". When you toggle "sport mode", you will feel a definite stiffening in compression and rebound of the shocks...not race car stiff but a pleasant, controlled stiffness. In "sport plus" mode, there is no additional stiffening (nor is there in the stock EDC "sport plus") but the car just feel more sporty to drive (the car with sport + mode's enhanced drivetrain calibration complemented by the Dinan shock settings on the EDC. My 2 cents?..worth it! |
