Quad conversion question
Hey guys, I'm trying to convert my 2015 535 to quad tips. After the purchase of the exhaust I will be left with roughly 400 to get a new diffuser. What's the best diffuser I could get, that would need no modification to fit the car?

Depends on style, carbon fiber, ect...
DTM Carbon Fiber: Vorsteiner: M5: 3d Style: and there's a Hamann style like this: All can be found in the Commercial Marketplace and eBay. Are you just changing the tips or actually the exhaust?

m5 diffuser is 226 with the comfort access adapter (less if you don't have comfort access) the adapter allows you to mount the foot sensor that lets you open the trunk by simply waving your foot underneath rear of the car
it comes un painted so you can get it painted prob around 100-150 (id imagine) i just ordered mine and since my car is going into the body shop tomorrow (old lady backed into my rear door on the passenger side ) i'm going to have them paint the diffuser for me as well i got mine at getbmwparts.com the price is pretty good for an OEM part, you also have to change out the adapter and another plastic piece (its all included in the kit) then later you can simply swap in any diffuser made for an m5. |

The M5 Kit was on sale at Tischer for like 225 including the insert. The DIY on this was a breeze. I'd rattle can it black or whatever... It's really easy or pay another 150 for paint. I highly recommend it as my comfort access works perfectly and I use it all the time since I have a 2 month old.

So just to be clear, you will loose the kick trunk comfort access with any diffuser except the M5 one w/insert?
Also, are all these diffusers just a straight swap, remove the stock one and install the new one?

the ones made for M5 aren't straight swaps; you need to get the an additional part.
