Since I can't find any Morr VS8.2 wheels to replace my damaged one I have to change my wheels - I'm leaning toward M5 wheels. I'd like to go OEM due to problems with the replica ones. What will it take so they fit correctly on a 550i? Spacers? What size tires can I safely run, my car is lowered with ACS springs. I'm currently running 255/35/20's in front and 295/30/20's in the rear. Can I go safely go that wide without rubbing as I know the M5 wheels have a different offset than non-M wheels.

Anybody? I know I just can't bolt up a set of M5 wheels with the factory rubber - what do I need to do to make these work?

Really, they'll just bolt right on with the 265 tires in front and the 295's in the rear will clear? I thought the offsets were different on the M5.

I guess you're talking about the 343M wheels. Just make sure to get some from a M5 and not a M6.
The ones from the M5 are 20x9 ET32 and 20x10 ET34, while the 343M from the M6 are 20x9.5 ET31 and 20x10.5 ET19.

Yes the M5 wheels and tires will bolt right up with no issues. There are a few guys running them on here. Only people that change tires are xdrive guys for rolling diameter reasons

Great! If I can't get insurance to cover my Morrs, this is the route I'll be going.

Thanks for the replies.

From what i know they do not bolt right up without rubbing.

you need 255/35 and 285/30 tires

That is what I understand as well. Rim size and offset is OK, but you need to move down one tire size
