am looking to install m5 mufflers in place of stock ones on 550. Anyone who did this before in the CT, RI, MA area could you please pass on some recommendations of quality muffler shop you dealt with? thanks.

I'm in CT as well, if you want a great exhaust shop, look up Pop's Exhaust in Manchester, CT or his son's shop Pop's Exhaust II in Wethersfield, CT. They do great work and very reasonable.

If you want a BMW indy shop doing it I'd recommend Munich Motorsports in South Windsor, CT on Route 5. Best indy shop in CT, awesome guys, they installed my Meisterschaft GTC exhaust, and have done a bunch of other work for me over the years.

Might also have the GTC exhaust for sale soon off of my 550i if you're interested. I'm located in Newington, CT.
