This is just out of curiosity, but what communications did you recieve from BMW NA after you bought your F10?

I recall that when I bought my e46, I was bombarded by BMW with marketing material (BMW movies, free subscription to BMW magazine, all kinds of literature), but I have not heard anything from BMW after the purchase of my F10 after a month of ownership. Is this normal now? Not that I care but the BMW magazines were nice for a while...

Key chain and all the free coffee I can drink when visiting the dealership.

Part of BMW logo already peeled off after 6 months of use.

they ask you fill out a survey for customer satisfaction , then some random trinkets in the mail, that's basically it.

Nice silver key chain and as my grandmother would say, "a swift kick in the arse on the way out the door".

Just kidding, dealer relationship has been excellent and I am a needy owner, lol.

BMW is growing rapidly that they are losing the quality and service focus.

I just find a stark difference between how BMW NA (not the dealer) treats its new customers now versus a few years ago. It feels like back then they would want to ensure that you became a lifetime BMW owner, and I remember bieng bombarded with literature for a few years. Now, nothing! Not even a "welcome to BMW" letter or anything. I guess their earlier marketing efforts paid off already so why bother.

I got key 2 key chains, a follow-up survey call, and a USB (looks like a BMW key, but aluminum) with all the cool videos a month later. The service manager wrote me an email, introduced me to my dedicated service advisor. And yes... lots of free coffee.
