DINANTronics vs M Performance Kit

Anyone have these kits installed?

My cars at the dealer for maintenance and they informed me up these tunes that maintain the warranty from BMW.

How much have you seen in performance upgrade?

My wifes 335i has the PPK installed (ordered from factory with it) and it is noticeable vs a stock one.

Are you talking about the new $300 unit from Dinan or the full unit ($2k)? Gains between the two are different. The $300 Sport is going to be similar to the PPK, the full unit is about twice that.

I was going to get the full unit since it is under warranty still.

The BMW MPPK is only compatible with 2015 and newer F10's. BMW switched to an electronic waste gate for 2015, which is required for that tune.
Also, the Dinantronics tune voids the BMW warranty, and moves you over to a Dinan warranty.

Anyone on here try the $300 Dinan (DINANTRONICS Sport Performance Tuner) unit yet? I'm trying to stay moderate on my car to make it last... this looks very interesting!

My BMW dealer said if anything goes wrong, they cover it as they have a deal with DINAN.

The dealership near my office, where I have frequently had my cars service is a Dinan dealer. They assured me that any Dinan modifications they did would not void my warranty.

I have a 2011 550i with the Dinan P2 power package (stage 5 tuning). BMW warranty is up but getting the Route 66 extended warranty. If you take your car in for service at a BMW dealership that sells Dinan products, you shouldn't have any issues.

I really would like a DINANTronics unit for my F10 but 2K for unit is pretty steep even. I do believe they build a quality unit.

You pay a premium, but you get what you pay for.

I'm with you on that but I'm probably just going to have my local Indy shop tune the car. It will be cheaper, I'll get the HP results and I'll just hope my car never needs a software update. Plus it doesn't void the warranty.

I'm not going the piggyback method.
