A moment of silence for our fallen brethern...
Saw these on my way in to work this morning and snapped a quick picture. A pair of MSport F10 535i, and a F30 328i among other unrecognizable vehicles. Its my understanding from some friends these cars were fully operable but hail damaged untitled/unsold new cars wrote off by insurance.... and they just F*&%ing crushed them. |

Ugh, painful to look at.
Hopefully they at least parted out the cars before crushing.

From what she said these cars are being held at the storage lot she works at pending insurance approval for destruction. Because of the title status of the vehicles NO PARTS are allowed, they are to be crushed/shredded as complete units.

Ouch, that is an ugly site, sandwiched F10's!
Scrapped for hail damage? Must have been softball sized bricks falling from the sky. I can't believe that they can't cosmetically mask the damage and resell. I guess that is why I have always had a garage for my F10.....although you never know when you are going to be the recipient of falling softball sized bricks. It also reminds me why my premiums are so high........ |

yea. happened up here in Canada. Lots of vehicles got flooded out east in a yard waiting for delivery, M5, M3, it brings a tear to my eye thinking about it.
My friends at BMW told me, all of them had to be crushed! brand new vehicles!!! |

This is what's wrong with the first world. So much waste. They could have sold them with salvage titles. No bmw should ever go to waste like this. This wasn't in San Antonio was it? The dealer there had a lot of hail damaged vehicles that they were selling as is...
