Painters tape, a pencil and a ruler. I taped around the original emblem, then used a ruler to mark off where each piece started and stopped. Used a hair dryer to heat up the original emblems then some fishing line to help get them off. I removed the original adhesive with Goo Gone, then cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and applied the new emblems.

What do u guys think Looks better black emblems or just completely removing it? Imho Looks clean with the black #'s

I thought about debadging it initially, but the more I saw cars without the emblems the more I liked the black emblems. Its really a mater of preference though. I went gloss black to match the shadow line window treatment. I ordered gloss black side grills as well and some xdrive embalms that I'm going to paint gloss black.

I was thinking of doing the emblems with the carbon fiber version just to flow with my carbon fiber wing and when I eventually upgrade to an msport rear bumper and carbon fiber diffuser. But the gloss black emblems look really good!
