Hi,

I checked the F10 service menu's System Voltage and observed that:

- Immediately after starting the engine the voltage is 15.0 V
- When I start driving it goes does to 14.8 V on average (fluctuating)

Seems a bit too high to me, but perhaps it is normal? Or do I have a problem with the voltage regulator? Not sure whether the System Voltage is reporting on output from the alternator or after the voltage regulator.

14.8V is in the normal scope of energy management.

Is the battery low and requiring the elevated charge rate?

Thanks for the reply. Frankly, I don't know - with ignition on, engine off voltage is around 12.5V (I think maximum is 12.7V?) so I don't think that the battery is low.

What's odd is that immediately after starting the engine (at idle) voltage peaks to 15.0 - 15.1 V which would be above the AGM limit (which I think is at 14.9 V). Curious.

Anyway, yeah, I think everything is as it should be.
