Is the consensus to use BMW G2 in the front diff, BMW transfer case fluid and your favorite 75w-90 in the rear diff?
I'm replacing both front axles on my Dad's 2013 535ix. Figured I'd change the fluids too since the car has 120k. Spotty maintenance records from PO, so I assume none of the driveline fluids have been changed. Next oil change I'll do a transmission pan and fluid change. |

Hey bro I know itīs been a long time but do you have the link to those videos? I just took my 2013 X3 for transfer case fluid change on an indy shop and they said it was a 1 hour job, now I asked a quote for my 2013 535i and they are saying its a 5 hour job because they may need to remove the cv axle... I was quite sure that the X3 and the 535 would be very similar if not for a few details but I couldnīt find much on transfer cases for 535s...
