Issue running 2015+ XDrive on Dyno
Hey Guys I went to my shop to get a stock dyno done on my car and they said their dyno is not able to do it as the 2015+ models with xdrive need the dyno setup a certain way or else the transfer case can get damaged. I was just curious if anyone has any more information about this as i look for a shop that can dyno my 535i xdrive.
Thanks, Ansar |

go somewhere else!
all you need a shop with an AWD dyno with a competent operator

Well I reached out to RK tunes in LI to see if they can do the stock dyno for me still waiting to hear back. The Shop I always used said that the dyno rollers need to be linked for 2015+ BMW x drive cars or you can risk damage to the transmission. The don't really deal with BMW's and the four wheel drive cars they deal with don't need this to be done so its better to safe.
