is this FIXABLE???

i recently got into a car accident my body shop told me to replace the bumper and did but i felt like it wasnt such a big accident i wanna repair the bumper and
sell it

the rear damege is the car i hit.. as you can see i hit the person at like 8mph my bumper looks bad but only cause of the license plate ...

i really dont want to just throw this bumper away such a nice piece maybe i should make it into a desk or something LOL

The desk idea is a very interesting!

Ask your body shop and see if it's fixible. The body shop may think it's cheaper, faster and easier replacing the bumper than fixing it.

uhh she basically said since its a lease and new car you should replace it

and over the phone i asked her today what she was going to do with the old bumper and she said throw it away .. BUT really there is no tear and i think they can buff that out and re paint ):

oh yeah and the desk LOL

Here in Oz, I would think that repair job would go close to the same cost as a new replacement bumper. I know what I would rather have on my ride if I was keeping it. Don't know that I'd feel right selling it without disclosing that it had a patch and paint done.

I guess your question is, is it worth fixing? Find a body shop that can fix it. Looks like you're in the auto industry, that shouldn't be too hard. LTMW if you're in Socal.

You're basically comparing labor to fix it vs purchasing a new one.

who's the 'she' you're referring to? it may be in her best interest to replace it, thats why she said replace it.
