Wider tyres on 550i

Hello,
I know the standard 20" tyre size for the F10 is 245/35R20 for front and 285/30R20 for rear. Will there be any problem if I use 255/35R20 for front?

Anybody has experience on those sizes?

Hey, that's what I have 255 front and 285 rear. Advan Sport doesn't have 245 and 275 (not 285) which is the standard. Not much difference and width are almost the same between the two.

wider tyres with same aspect have slightly thicker sidewall as well. Wondering if it affects braking performance much

I assume you mean on aftermarket wheels since 255 fits best on 9" wide wheels.
And all the guys with 21" wheels run 255/30 front tires.

That's right. Most likely going to be put on my incoming Ten Split
