Well, yes and no, the BMW silver screw broke off IN the damn housing. Failed $1.00 BMW screw which sheered off at the head now costing me a bunch of money. And I was hand tightening with a T 15 screw driver to ensure nothing would happen like that as well.

The screws are hardened so a drill bit and screw removing tool would not work.

Probably could have had it replaced under warranty, but it was my own fault for installing after market parts. The price of doing mods I guess. Lol. And I love the sound. Have to say, BAVAUDIO sent me a 15.00 Amazon gift card and the new sound insulation for their subs. I would guess they had them drop shipped by the manufacturer and bavaudio immediately stepped up to the plate when the found out the seal was missing, and resolved the problem. Very good company to work with. And they give military discounts if you served

Need part 65139169687

I did the same thing. What I did was screw a thin self tapping screw on a slight angle thru the same hole & it cinched it up real good. No rattle at all.

The housing comes with the woofer for $418 @ getbmwparts. I'll live with it a bit longer. Seems to work ok for me.

Around 100.00 on ebay if you search around. I too, am loving with it for now. Just crappy bolts from bmw. I would suggest buying 8 new screws before installing subs. Being that these housings cost 400+ new, it is a wise precaution.
