Adaptive Cruise Control

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and have been soaking up on all the knowledge since yesterday I have an F10 520d and was very relieved toread yesterday that the speed limit function is automatically breached when you floor the accelerator - had been wondering if it was a dangerous fail in my car whenever it breached the speed limit.

I have a quick Q about the Adaptive Cruise Control that I read about from posts in the same thread as speed limit. Is it a standard feature for F10s or is it an optional? I tried seeing if I had ACC on the drive back from office last night....the fact that I had to brake pretty hard at the last moment, proved that I didnt

Would it be super expensive to get ACC on post purchase? it does sound like a great thing to have.

You can turn the ACC off.
So in your case....
I think you are better of without it!
