2011 (n63) 550ix drivetrain malfunction

Hey all,

At sustained high RPM full throttle, car is throwing drivetrain malfunction, cuts throttle abruptly, but never throws or records codes (I have a Foxwell scanner).

This doesn't happen in gears 1-3, only happens when I'm at higher speeds & thus spending more *time* in those higher rpms with accelerator on the floor (high fueling demand)

I suspect HPFPs since it only happens at higher gears (higher sustained demand over longer period).

Anyone have any other ideas? I welcome tips on diagnosing.

Engine was tuned & is running ~20psi stock turbos, which is why I suspect oem HPFPs are not keeping up but idk.

Had this problem both before and after new Dinan coils & whatever the top iridium NGK plugs are gapped to 0.023". Ignition not the problem, and also it would throw a code & a cylinder if it was.
