Garage List
M-Sport brake size

I'm guessing my brakes are standard size, like any other 5 series, and that i can fit 17" rims. My car is a 535i xdrive.

But the extra space doesn't look large with my 19's. Can someone confirm what these are and that 17's will fit?

I'm running my 535i M-sport wagon with the standard 348 x 36 disc/rotor. (Some 535i models have the 348 x 30). Can't quite see the detail on your caliper carrier, to see if it is the same as mine. I run the OE 17" Star Spoke 327 with winter tires. They fit with minimal clearance.

If you or a previous owner did NOT upgrade the brakes AFTER the car came off the assembly line...all you need to do is go to one of the online part database sites like https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select or www.bimmercat.com or http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/ and enter the last 7 digits of your VIN...then go to the WHEEL diagrams.

If there are 17" wheels listed, then your BMW can run the BMW 17" wheel options. If 18" wheels is the smallest diameter wheel...then the 17" wheels will not fit over your brakes.
