ok, it's very good point then.
Because I plan to buy a pair of those and the shippment + additional VAT for UE import are very expensive (200$ for the shippment toward Germany and 300$ of additional VAT for the import) So if it will does not work on my 2012 535i I will kill myself

Another question, where can you buy replacement bulb for LED ? I didn't see any LED bulb replacement on the net (for this aftermarket Umnitza and for the OEM LED headlight)

ouch that sucks!! you won't be disappointed with the light....Not sure about replacement bulbs, ask Umnitza if that's possible. Post up pics once installed - you're going to love them!

I took some shots and it's a bit hard to tell BUT believe me when I say my lights are way brighter than the LED M3 lights.

another question, the coding is needed just to remove the fault code but even without removing the fault codes the headlights work fine ?
For the coding, the guy who did it, he used E-Sys ?

Yes, lights work fine without coding - coding is to remove the annoying beeping but they worked fine on my 1 hour drive to the coder. I'm not exactly sure what the system is called but it's the same system (from the looks of it) that all of my other BMW's were coded with.

F10 tail lights are virtually identical between MYs. I don't understand why anyone would pay to 'upgrade' the tails, but I digress

These headlights look great, definitely need to re-aim though

The adjustment that requires the allen wrench, to my understanding, aims them left and right. I turned one of them at least 15 turns but could not notice any effect but it's probably because I was in my garage. But for sure, at least on my car, it is the rook looking knob itself, not the allen screw in the middle of it that adjusts my up/down of the headlights.
can you provide a picture of the one that makes it go up down?

I sent an email to Umnitza to know if the LED bulbs can be bought on every specialized automotive car store but they didn't reply me...
If you can't find any part replacement for these headlights I will not go for them... imagine you have a problem with a part (the ballast which controls the LED or the bulb itself) how do you deal with it ? You have to change the whole headlight ?

I actually turn the outer ring by hand but as you can see, it actually is two different sized allen key adjustable knobs. The smaller one in the very middle supposedly adjusts either width, or left/right of the beam (I can't tell). The larger one is the one that adjusts my lights up/down.

I had Umnitza headlights on my E46 8 years ago. While I wouldn't personally recommend them to anyone as one side stopped working within a year (not the bulb, some other piece within the headlight), this could be a much better product.

That's why I hesitate to take these ones...
Even now, I don't see any bulb replacement for the LED headlights...
I looked for LED bulbs replacement on realoem.com and on the ETK and I didn't find any reference for the LED bulb, they are even not represented on diagrams. It's strange...

I didn't receive any reply from Umnitzä to my question ...
I sent email to chinese sellers on aliexpress which sell the 'same' LED headlight for F10.
They replied instantly to my questions, and... they said me there is not replacement part for the LED bulb.... in case of failure, I have to send the headlight to them to open them and replace the integrated LED bulb...

For me it's not a good solution.
I think it's the same thing with these Umnitza headlights, that's whu they didn't reply to my ask...

I don't know if any modern LED headlights have easy replaceable bulbs. Remember modern LED headlights don't have LED bulbs, they have clusters of LEDs soldered together on the circuit board. So if an LED in your OEM LED headlight goes bad they will have to replace the entire headlight. Keep in mind that most LEDs are extremely reliable if powered correctly and should outlast the lifespan of your car.

Absolutely, there is a reason why all manufactures moving towards LEDs - efficiency and reliability are the key factors with LEDs.

The circuit board cannot be changed without changing the entire headlight ?

Not really, OEM headlights are sealed and not designed for easy disassembly and LEDs or circuit board replacement.

I would trust/expect an OEM LED unit to last a very long time and have very low failure rates.

But we all know that poor quality LEDs can fail very quickly.

So the question is, what sort of quality are Umnitza products usually?
