Question Changing headlights?

Hey there,

I got a '11 F10.

I want to change the headlights, I got the xenon ones with adaptive cornering, now I want to change them with bi-xenon ones, will they fit without any software/installation changes or are they a pain in the ass to fit and work properly?

If you already have xenon, then they're bi-xenon too.

So the question OP is do you know the difference or do you want it because it sounds better?

1. I have these right now:

bixenon ones:

2. I have not a big idea, though I could imagine that the bixenon ones are with xenon-adaptive cornering lights instead of simple yellow lights (as the current)?

Yet, I have no idea which one is better than the other. If you have had any experience please share your thoughts.

3. My question was regarding the installation. Do they need a new setup or the current one (for the normal xenon) works for bixenon headlights aswell?

Thanks

You already have the adaptive xenon. There's no better version, except for the new adaptive LED technology.

Bi-Xenon just means that the same lamp is used for both full beam and dipped beam light pattern. A mechanical shutter is used to switch between the two modes. Both the adaptive xenon and the normal xenon lamps are Bi-Xenon.

The inner lamp on the non-adaptive version looks empty to me.
