Dismissing traffic announcements from steering wheel

Has anyone found if you can dismiss an unwanted RDS TA traffic announcement without pressing the button near to the volume knob on the dash? In and around London you can get just too many announcements some times, but in general I want to keep it turned on

You can also cancel it by pressing the far right twin arrow button which normally moves the CD track on. Still on the main dash but at least it's closer to you
