Going thru same decision as OP- loved the idea of black wheels then decided against them. Getting ready to order a set of Stance SF01 in Titanium.

Plasti dipped my wheels last night just to confirm the no black wheels. Black DOES look better in person and makes car look aggressive. However all detail is lost. But they are growing on me too-

I'm personally not into black much, I like gun metal or gray more but it turn out kinda too dark. Well, I'll see how it is in a week

in my opinion and experience, it all depends on the gloss level of the black in terms of capturing the wheels details. the glossier they are, the harder to take a good pic. but in real life, people can see the details just fine. i've had anthracite/gun metal semi gloss wheels and they too can be hard to capture in pictures as well. these are semi gloss black centers, gloss outers. Satin takes pics well, and of course matte are even better for pics.

oh and painted calipers also help the wheels stand out as well. even if they are black.

Looks better now that the BMW badge has been uncovered

I like the colour personally... have you considered having your mirrors and rear spoiler done in black loss. I have mine done and think it ties in the other black detailing.

And here's some pictures....

Not great quality, I can't seem to upload them in any higher definition. Rear diffuser, rear bumper and front bumper fins are 3M 4G Carbon wrap.

On a white car, you can pretty much put on any colored wheels.
