Anyone know if "new sports seats " might also mean improved rear seat legroom with the new front sport seats? I'd like to see equivalent rear seat legroom with the multi contour fronts as with what you get with the standard front seats.

I assume that it's an euro spec model, and we have had those sport seats all the time with the F10, so I wouldn't expect them in US model F10 LCI.

BMW keeping the M Sport so similar is a great testament as to how the INSIDERS regard these cars. You can look at is as they don't want to "mess with perfection", while Mercedes and the like do the opposite. Keeping the M Sport so identical shows they perceive it as a classic which was designed right the first time! Bravo.
fully agree with you, a dramatic change to a facelift is simply down to failure with the original one.

They look like the same sport seats we already have in Europe too. Pretty sure they havent changed them.

Very well said. The W124 E-class was a true pinnacle for Mercedes and the E-class has been going down hill ever since. The 2013 facelift is just down right ugly and hideous.

To be fair, I don't like the F10 5-series without M Sport before or after the LCI. But with the M Sport or in M5 trim, it is simply one of the best looking sedan available today and I truly believe that the look of the f10 will age very well.

The E-class will remain ugly as time goes by, but we do have to thank MB for participating if not initiated the power war. If not for the E55K, we might never see the V10 in the E60 M5.

Fog light housing does look different but not in a good way. Glad not much is changing. Didn't the admin from this site post up something awhile back that the I-drive touch controller not hitting the US market first but rather in Asia?

I thought China got it for their MY2013, which I hope means we get it for MY14!

The max utility of touch pad is probably entering the address for navigation which I do by using BMW remote app 100% of time.

Entering address by hand writing recognition was fun at first but it get old after a short time. Enter by knob or voice is much easier. About the only I use the touch pad for is to move around in the interactive map.

Totally agreed. The W212 E's facelift looks like it should be an April Fools joke. Never have I seen such disharmony from a facelift. Nothing matches up, the new elements have been given absolutely no thought as to how they'll look with the original core design (i.e completely mismatched), lots of busy gimmicks just thrown at it to make it even more discordant, etc. It seems M-B is hiring designers straight out of High School.

I think BMW is actually taking pre-LCI owners more into account and also keeping things subtle to save money as well... I had no problem w/ the m-sport steering wheel in the pre-LCI... and I am buff so no need to worry about seat bolsters for me but do agree that they should be there. The F10 is a nice car but was too wobbly for me.

Can anyone comment on the steering fix? And it will it come with that new digital enhanced instrument panel?

After second look it does have the new instrument panel and also, the sport seats look thinner up top and more contoured on the bottom.

I like the current F10 so as long as they don't lose that general style I am good to go

You would then enjoy the pinch gesture for zooming the map. Entering characters is def for the China market.

It isn't the steering wheel we have a problem with, it is the STEERING.
