My New Quad Exhaust Setup
firstly apologies for the dirty car, just wanted to get a couple of shots of my new quad conversion on here tonight, Gareth @ Welsh coast Customs, South Wales did an excellent job today and im one happy customer
Ended up going for two straight through pipes and change in noise level is hardly noticeable, however im having a dpf delete in two weeks which may make a difference. hope you like the pics.

Thanks unfortunately had to break cubby box in the end to get it out, so wont be putting it back in there, never really used it anyway it was abit deep. I still have a little recess there though similar to what i had on the e90 3series.

Looks lovely!
Interesting no silencers and you say it doesn't sound much louder... Do you get a drone at higher speeds?

I had the dpf removed from my E91 335d as it split, it does indeed make the turbo charger noise very much louder, not unpleasant just a high pitched whistle. That car sounded like a diesel powerboat at idle which was kind of nice, didn't ever notice much difference once on the move though.
Obviously a different engine but I imagine the effect will be much the same. Your car looks lovely, shame they didn't make an F11 M5, I'd have bought one in a heartbeat. I have to ask, are you sure about removing the dpf? I can tell you from experience that it will make the car very smelly and it will puff black smoke out of back despite what anyone might try and tell you. Although my 335d was very quick without the dpf and with ecotune re-map, in hindsight it ruined the car, the smell from it if stuck in traffic around town was embarrassing. Good Luck Ian |

Looks good.
Well worth the investment. Can't beat a quad set up - looks the business.
