Just kidding - but is it really worth the effort?

Yes, twice a year and, whilst it's certainly quite a lot of work, I reckon it's well worth the effort as the Poorboy's sealant makes them very easy to clean over the intervening 6 months and, after almost 2 years, they still look like new.

I note that you're in Scotland; if you're anywhere near Aberdeen, I'd recommend that you visit Polished Bliss in Kintore (http://www.polishedbliss.co.uk/) they give excellent advice based on the make age and colour of your car and don't try to sell you the most expensive stuff. I went to them immediately after collecting my F10 from new and was advised that all I needed was the Acrylic Jett and some Poorboy's wheel sealant; total cost £31, as opposed to over £300 for the dealer applied 'Seal and Protect'.

There is nothing about this car or it's colour that says boring! It looks great.

It's a labour of lurve . Good to hear someone else enjoys spending time on their baby. Don't it feel goooood to gaze lovingly at her after you've finished

If you're driving from Edinburgh to Aberdeen in the new car, I'd suggest you protect it before the trip. Give PB a call; they'll recommend what you need and send it to you postage free.
