New to site and first timer BMW owner.
We picked up our 528i 2011 on December 31st and love the car! I have been trying to figure out how to get the remote to change the seat positions, mirror and all the other settings. I have the memory button programmed to change all the above but when I unlock the car using the remote it does not change the seat or mirrors to my settings after my wife has driven the car.

Any ideas?

I think you will find it's matched to the key you are using. So, if your wife uses the spare key and sets her preferred seat position etc. The next time you use that key it will remember the set up. For yourself use the main key and it will do the same.
