Hi guys

I’m in the leicester area, anyone know of a decent wheel refurb place. I’ve used the stealers before and at £90 a corner the job was ok not brilliant as the lacquer started to peel off not long after.

Any recommendations would be welcomed!

Yep got me be done there too, they will powder coat them rather than spray. It’s a better finish...

Drop it first thing in the morning and spend the day in Birmingham, will be ready by the afternoon...

As said above powder coating is the only way to go, remove everything, bead blast, powder coat, bake, lacquer and bake.

It's a proper job and often better than original finish.

Hi chaps thanks for all you replies! I have been researching online and speaking to all the companies mentioned! I have learnt a lot regarding smart repairs full wheel refurbishment etc and still left Undecided. Would prefer someone still in the leicester area as it's difficult to take time off to go out of town at the moment.

I got quotes from perfection alloys, speedys wheels and chips away and a two mobile places and in the end decided to go back to Sytner. I have realised the prices ranged from £25-100.

Hi pancho I have seen My friends f10 and honestly the 351m wheel looked about 18.5" or even 18" as so much was grinded off. These are optional extra wheels so I wanted mine to remain as 19" so I stayed away. Colour and finish can always be rectified, wheel size cannot.

I suggest you use sytner as perfection did tell me I could loose some profile if it's done as a mobile job.

Ps do you know any trustful and competent Indy's round here. If you get a chance check my brake discs thread. I want someone to put some brembo discs and pads on my car.
