Clutch judder

My 520d manual has developed some clutch judder when pulling away. has anybody else had this problem??

My 535i clutch is very smooth. No chatter or judder at all.

Every manual 520d I have owned (3 off) has suffered from this, it usually comes and goes and has never caused a problem although it's one of the reasons I went for an auto this time.
