fog light remove and showing problem

Hi
Everyone
I am in the process of converter my BMW 520D into M5 look that comes out a problem I cannot solve.
I have changed the front pumper, because the M5 pumper don’t have fog light, I have to take away the fog light that cause the dashboard showing error message that saying fog light error.
So can anyone help me and give me some suggestions please to come over this issue
(Should I plug something into the fog light port to stop the error message?)
Thanks

Get the fog lights coded out, it shouldn't be a difficult job for someone that knows what they are doing

Yes, the computer will still be looking for them and testing the bulbs to confirm that they're working, hence the fog light error message, so you need to tell the computer to stop looking - simples

You have to code out the cold start check, easy enough to do.
