That's what I did...1st debadged it but then looked too M5-ish IMHO with my other upgrades. So while it did look clean; I decided to go ahead and rebadge w/Matte black Bimmiam ones. Looks much better now and still retains the 550i identity for those who want to know what the quad piped beast quickly pulling away from them is! LOL

I blacked out my 550i and GT badges. It blends nicely, but one can still know you've got the top of the lineup V8 . While I also like de-badging, not to be a badge whore, I feel that many with 528 and 535s do it, and that many car enthusiasts will assume you have a lower end Beemer just because of that reason. Just my two cents though...

I removed the xDrive badges from the side but kept the 535i on the rear. I prefer the cleaner look on the sides and don't care if people know its all-wheel drive, but I'm proud of my 535i. I worked hard for it and while I KNOW I'd love driving the V8, I made the conscious choice to go with the inline 6 for a balance between performance and fuel economy.
