Aoua,
I just came across your original post, if you have not purchased your winter tires yet, I have a set of Dunlop Winter Tires 245 45 18 which I purchased new last winter for my 535 RWD, I have since changed cars to a 535 xi and am going with 19" winters, so if you have any interest in a set of winters in excellent condition, let me know as I am in MTL also. Tks

I have the same wheels only 9" rear with summer tires. was thinking about putting the nokian hakkapelliita R tires on these but i think maybe 9" rear wheel is too wide for a 245/45 tire. What do you think? Mine is not Xdrive.

There is no problem with rear wheel drive. You can 245/45/18 on 9 "rims and it will look good. Nokian Hakka R is a good choice for bmw fits Nordic climate, a good choice.

245 is the minimum width for 9" wheel, so you should be fine. I am running 245/30 on 9" rims for over 3 years, no problem at all.

In Norway xDrive vehicles comes with summer tires. Yes we have lots of snow and ice roads from October to April, many mountain passes with ice and Snow Road. We have special nordic winter tires with extra soft compound or opt studded. these tires supplied only Norway, Sweden and Finland I think.
