Just placed my order!

Just placed my order for a 2012 528i xDrive with almost all packages available!

Carbon Black Metallic, Brown Cinnamon Interior, M Package, Apps Package, Premium Sound , Exec Package, Rear Comfort Package, Navigation Package.

On top I have ordereda set of 19" M Double Spoke 351 wheels found on the 535i and will keep my 350's for winter.

I have already placed an order for an AC Schnitzer roof spoiler and I need to see if Eisenmman offer the Dual exhaust system for the N20 engine or it was only for the N52.

According to my rep, I should take delivery first week of May

Unfortunately, here in Canada, BMW official web site doesn't allow to track our order so I will be waiting patiently for my car to arrive.

That waiting time is normal nowadays, they are estimating 8 weeks of lead time as of now.

nice build!! lucky that you're getting first week of may!!! i ordered in december and still have not taken delivery!!!!! car is still at the terminal waiting for a truck to bring her to dealer!! i wish i could just go pick it up myself!!!

The car left the factory and it is now on the ship! Due date at the port is April 23rd, my dealer will arrange priority shipment so I can have it a few days after!

I have received so much parts for my car... This will be a nice of. Can't wait to share some pictures.... Now let just hope the ship will not sink like titanic !

I was just curious why with all the packages and extra parts and wheels, you didnt order a 535i? For that money.
Looks like it's going to be an epic car though! Congrats

Congrats! I'm awaiting my delivery as well, but have a question on your winter wheel/tire package. I live in Germany and need actual snow tires during the winter probably like you. Do you plan on wrapping winter treads on the other set? I'm getting the m package and really don't want it to look ugly with some crappy wheels for five months out of the year.

The 18" 350 type wheels that came with the car will be wrapped with winter tires and I have bought a set of 19" 351 type wheels for summer.

Keep in mind that I will get the car this week. I can't wait... I will post picture the day I will receive it!

Since money was obviously not a factor (considering the packages you opted for) was there any reason you chose the N20 over the N55? Not asking out of any elite-ness, genuinely curious.

Well, i had a 335is with the N54 engine and I loved the engine. I have debated if I really needed the N55 engine. 95% of the time if not more I don't need the power, (don't get me wrong, the N20 sounds like a Japanese sedan but doesn't lack any power! It's pretty fast.)

Since this was a lease, there was a huge gap in pricing, the 528 doesn't sell like BMW had planed in Canada.They are providing huges monthly incentive over the 535. Both cars equipped exactly the same, the 528 is 403$ less a month on a 39 months lease... This represent $15,707 over time even if the sticker price is only roughly $4,000 difference! Residual value and interest rate for he 528 were very compelling. So for bragging rights... The N20 was more than enough and with the killer audio package.. I don't even hear the engine!

So yes money was no object but $16,000 over 39 months is not negligible
