I am thinking about refinishing my wheels to Matte Black.

I like the Matte Black look, but at times I think its overdone. I want to get opinions from fellow F10ers.

Let me know what you think.

I think they look perfect as is. I wouldn't mess with a good thing.

I had two sets of black rims on the car but my two latest sets are hyper silver.
Much better contrast.
Murdered out look is cool but the way out sits is 100 times better IMHO

If you want matte black I highly recommend you plastidip the wheels.

It's reversible so if you change your mind and want to go back to brushed it won't cost your $1000.

That is exactly what i was planning to do. I'm sure I wouldn't want it matte black for long.

I have a friend that has a shop and offered to do it for me.

Go for it then. But, I do love the look of your car, especially the wheels, because of the contrast. I have AW and was thinking of going black with my wheels, as I have silver and there is not enough contrast.

Black wheels IMO cheapen the look of any car and hopefully the fad will fade away soon.

AW with black rims, 30% tint and black vinyl wrapped roof. Thats my favorite f10.

Well, I'm almost there, have the tint and gloss black roof. Maybe I'll plasti-dip my wheels this weekend and see how they look.
