I just traded in my A6 for the 535xi, the price difference was about $2000 more for the 535 if the BMW free mainteance is considered. I estimate the worth of the free maintenance at $2000.
I was in the same boat as you, didnt want to deal with the low profile runflats and love the multi-contour seats. I found a 535 with the individual multi contour seat option, no sport package low profile run flat to worry about. It also had the premium sound, which in my opinion is a must.
I had the dealer swap the goodyear tires to conti. From what I have read, the conti are more durable and last up to 40000 miles.
