Help - bluetooth keeps re-setting after service
Hey guys,
I took my car in for its first service last week. During the service I requested that the auto stop start feature be set to off as default so they had to program my car. With that I might have got other updates because now I see that my office is finally working and I see text messages in the messages portion of the menu. However now when I get into the car it says my samsung galaxy 3 is paired but it really isn't. I see the following message: "A connection to one of the paired Bluetooth devices could not be established for the selected function. Please connect another Bluetooth device" If i go to the bluetooth menu and select add a new phone and add my same phone back it syncs everything again and I am all good. I dont want to have to do this every time I get into my car. Any ideas on how to fix it before I go back to the dealership? Want to know if I am missing something here. This worked perfectly fine up until I brought it into service. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks! Last edited by jbeemer13; 07-04-2013 at 06:14 PM.. |

Problem solved. Guess it was my phone causing the issues and not any updates. I turned off my phone and pulled the batter out and now it syncs every time. Not sure what was causing it but glad its fixed now!

You mean does it populate with all the names and corresponding phone#s? If so yes it does. It takes a few minutes each time i get into the car. But after it syncs I can see my phone book just the way i see it on my s3.

Thanks for the heads up. I actually upgraded to the latest Samsung software and now I see everything.
