I bought the M5 front and M-tech Sides and Rear from Umnitza. The Hamann lip I got off of Fleabay. Finally got th car detailed today. Took me 4 hours for a complete inside and out detail.

1) Washed and Clayed
2) Dried with Leaf Blower
3) Polished with finishing pad and Chemical Guys Blacklight
4) Followed up Blacklight with V07
5) Interior cleaned with Meguiars Supreme Interior Detailer and Leather Cleaner/Conditioner
6) Stoners Glass Cleaner
7) Cleaned wheels with Meguiars Quick detailer

So here's more shots of the lip and fenders.

Going to wait to install splitter to do a proper photoshoot.

Alright Simple3... got my diffuser done! Steering wheel will be ordered next week followed by I dunno... MTech side skirts? To cold here in Ohio to do the caliper paint project. what do you have lined up next? You gotta give me some pointers on claying, polishing and waxing cause your car looks so damn shiney! I got some swirl action in my paint. Probably after winter breaks I'll have to get a DA kit of some kind. Gotta learn about which products to use and what pads to use with?

Damn son! That looks really good! I'm thinking about changing out my diffuser but I like the painted combo. If you aren't storing her for the winter I suggest you give her one good wax with Collinite 845. It will help with the road salts and snow. Unless you haven't already.

For sure I'll give you tips on the clay n polish deal. If you don't have any deep scratches and just light swirls then an AIO will do the trick.

Right now, other than a diffuser swap, I don't have anything lined up. I have to swap out my wheels still. I am looking for a replacement for my dying e36.. not exactly dying. ..just needs a lot of work and will have to put in more money than she is worth. Probably give her to my pops. She had over 310k miles on her. Almost time to retire haha

Looking for an e34 or e46 wagon to haul the mutt around in.

She's in storage now as I heard snow will fall this weekend so I won't wax her until the end of winter. I can at least start shopping around for a DA kit with pads and stuff. What diffuser r u currently rocking? I thought about going with a painted M5 diffuser with the carbon fiber Challenger insert which looks pretty cool. That might be an option if you already have the M5 one? CHECK out rdrcket car...he's got it. Need to find a DIY for coilover install with no EDC? Member Aiden Detailing said it's pretty easy. Shops around Here want almost $600 because it's a BMW! SO imma tackle it on.

I checked out the CF insert and 900 bucks?!?! There's crack to be smoked! If you have non-edc, the coilovers will be a breeze!

I currently have a rep m5 diffuser. I'm looking for something a little more aggressive.

There's a guy selling an authentic Vorsteiner diffuser for $500. They normally sell for like $1k+

Hey Simple3... have you seen this tip design but in a 4" quad tip? The M5 exhaust is more inward and not outward like the 5 series so when I eventually get the Armytrix exhaust without modifying the exhaust hangers I can just go with these tips. Someone posted a thread about this and I've been searching for it and I can't find it?

nevermind...i found it after about an hour of searching again. i think this is the only way the ArmyTrix exhaust will fit without modifying the exhaust itself...just use these tips! really would like to go 4" quad tho

so the burnt quad tips are 2.5" longer than what bimmer722 used. but i'm not sure how far his welder welded the tips from the muffler itself? width wise his were 182mm whereas the burnt one's are 178mm just a tad smaller. i'll have to figure something out when the time comes.

What up bro, Sorry man! been really busy for the holidays! Anyways, those eyelids do look really good! I was looking at them for a while but decided to keep my headlights the way they are. Man, I am so behind on my mods. The wheels need to get installed and the tail lights need to get put in. Hopefully I can get all of that done before Christmas but it has been a busy time for me with work and all.

I'm still waiting to see how those Umnitza headlights turn out. If they pan out where they are plug and play with no coding? Then I am all in.. Im not going to be a guinea pig for almost 2 g's...

Awesome man! I'm just going to swap tires. My heater in the house just took a dump and the wife is freezing her ass off.. that's going to cost me a few grand so that is going to definitely scrap any modding for the next few months.

someone posted here the carbon fiber surround with dual black slots. he took both sets apart and re assembled them. looked pretty sweet. i tried finding it but wasn't sure if it was here or on the M5 board. are you on the east coast where it snows too?
