Quick question on JB4
So on n55 motor with jb4 + catless dp on 93 oct only, what kind of whp and wtq can be expected? Also someone with experience can tell me what map would be used to achieve that power. Thanks!

Power will be different for each car, you can check n54tech.com forums or burgertuning to get an idea of what has been done to F30 335, F22 M235, i havent see much 535 data. You should consider dyno'ing your car to really know what YOU put down.

Use map 2 with JB4 and catless downpipe ... I do not have exact numbers for your car but as mentioned above it will be a major upgrade over stock

There's no ball park numbers because every N55 is a little different, especially the 535
You can look at Bmw doubles elg0rd0yadigg who are the few of the 535 to have Dyno'ed before and after to get an idea. But essentially you should Dyno your own car due to your different fuel, weather, and mods you may or may not have. Probably someone in the n54tech.com JB4 forums may have dyno'ed the 535, but if yours is 2011 prepare to be heart-broken with the gains.

With jb4 and catless downpipe on map 2 i would guess a gain of 30 to 40 hp from stock. Thats just a ballpark . But like i said its a big difference in power. You also have the option of adding e85. You will need to monitor your logs of course but you can add 3 to 4 gallons and shouldn't have any problems. That will also make a big difference.

Throw some E85 in the mix if you have access to it. I only have a JB4 w/ Flex Fuel wires. Threw 3 gallons of E85 in with 13 of 91 octane and on Map 5 it FLYS. I can only imagine how a catless DP would make it feel.
Can't wait to put my M5 mufflers on. |

E85 is really a game changer. I have a pump right next to my office so it's convenient to me. Car drives normally as if I was using pump gas, but when I hit the throttle and the boost hits....traction is breaking lol.

E85 has amazing cooling properties and increases octane so you're just helping your car and environment
The stock fuel system on the F10 can take anywhere up to e50 (50% blend, or more/less) but most guys are running anywhere from e30 to e45 from what I've seen here. E85 FTW

The clean burning properties also have been said to help carbon build up

You need a downpipe to run map 2 but u dont necessarily need an intake. I would also not run e85 without a downpipe. I know of at least one case it melted the factory catalytic converter.

Im not sure how or the explanation behind it. But i was told by a very knowledgeable guy who owns one of the best shops here in houston running e85 was the cause and it was melted.
