JB4 - map 2 vs map 5

Hi Guys,

I know a lot of people dicussed this in the past and did try to google search on this as well.

But the answer to my question wasnt really there or maybe I got tired of looking :P

What I understand is map 2 is set in stone vs map 5 auto tunes depending on conditions and mods.

I am wondering is map 2 set to set target for boost?
Will map 5 be able to make same power as map 2 or maybe even more? I understand that map5 power delivery might not be consistence since it changes according to conditions.
With added mod does map2 boost targets changed?

Currently I have MPE exhaust and catless dp, running 93, and going to add jb4 over the weekend.

I am planning on add 2 gallons of e85 since shell 10 mins away sells it to try and see how it works.

Any input would be appriciated.

Map 2 is set to +6 psi
Map 5 get you anywhere from 11psi to 17psi

So depending on your mods, fuel and temps you could be making less or more power with map 5. Only way to tel is to test both

Seems like better to leave it at map 5 unless i get a new FMIC.

Temperature here is cold 9 months out of the 12 lol so that should also help.

Also do you by any chance know where i can route the wires? I cant seem to find a way to route the wires correctly.

I know there must be a cleaner way to route these wires.
