Update on Dinan suspension?

I read some older threads regarding Dinan spring upgrades on the F10 5 series. Can anyone that has had these let me know how they've liked it after a few months or years and let us all know on updates from the previous threads?

I have an install booked for later this week for Dinan as I felt H & R was too low for winter. There were too many threads for ACS being noisy and they seemed harder for me to find. The ACS drop is probably perfect however. Ideally I would have liked KW but it looks like there's not much to offer for xdrive.

Thoughts would be greatly appreciated as my install is just days away...

I love my dinan springs. It makes the car turn around the bends much smoother. Not too hard nor bouncy. The best thing is the warranty. Some dealerships won't fix any suspension problem if you changed your springs. Dinan dealership will actually replace broken parts.

Thanks for the update. We'll see how things go when I get it done. Just need a slightly tighter suspension set up.

Update please, how do they ride? What did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking?

They ride pretty well but not as dramatic as some people report. The ride height reduction is fairly minimal and if you're in San Diego you might want some more. All in all I'm quite happy and this is what I was expecting.

Quite pricey but I got tired of looking around small shops here and not getting called back.

mine was coupled with the shockware update which I think made just as much difference as the springs. I know it is more money, but at the end of the day, the handling is what really makes all the power in the car fun....

550i msport with ARS, IAS, and the electronic dampers lowered on ACS springs.

The complaints about noise from these springs have been addressed by the company. ACS now includes plastic coated caps on the end tip of their springs which have eliminated the noise. I was also worried about the noise complaints that I read on several forums, but I made sure that I got a newer set that have the plastic end caps. Going on 5 months with the ACS springs and not one single problem. Car is planted and handles fantastic. All of the electronic damping settings remain the same and the ride is firmer but not harsh. Cornering is superb, but I'm sure that is also a function of the ars.

Any other problems with the ACS springs is more than likely due to installer error. I think choosing an installer with experience on your specific type of vehicle is very important.

I always felt that ACS had more desirable lowering rates. I was first considering ACS and really wanted them. They ended up being harder to source. After everything I'm happy.
