Going back to scraping driveways...I am barely able to clear mine. As you can see from the pics. Definitely scrapes going down if I don't make a full stop right at the junction of the angled/straight road, then go about 1 mph. PPl behind finally realized that I'm trying not to damage the splitter. But initially, the were like WTF is this guy doing!? lol. On the other hand, going up is not as bad.

Some scratches at the bottom of the splitter but you can only see it when looking from underneath. Otherwise, looks perfect. I'm planning on getting thicker tires to raise the car a few millimeters, which should help minimize scraping. You can't avoid scraping the front splitter with a lowered car. But it comes with the territory. It's sooo worth it though

that is the way to drive a modified car! enjoy it! If I was behind you, I would definitely cheer you up not to scrap your front lip. Are you using ACS? Can I see the wheel gap you have both front and rear?

On the original question of increasing the tyre profile - if you do you will change the rolling diameter and screw up the speedo and mileage. If you want to increase you will need to drop rim diameter, but you will still end up with the same height.

You could , but you would need to calibrate the speedo etc and enter a factor to ensure accurate speedo and mileage readings in the future.

Thanks. You can always get the replica wrapped CF or painted gloss black. But yeah the OEM CF splitter is $$$. I got lucky and found a used one for a good deal.
