Test Mule for Eibach USA's lowering springs for F10 550i

So, I just got my car back from Eibach USA (in Corona, CA).......They used my car to try out their lowering springs for the F10 550i. The claimed drop is 1.0 inch in the front and 0.8 inch in the rear. The ride seems firmer yet still retains stock like comfort. I kinda wish the drop was lower, but then this is with the stock wheel/tire setup. I hope to get some 20in HRE's, so maybe the gap will be less between the tire and fender.

Before (Stock)

After (Lowered)

I hate to say this if you were looking for a significant drop, but I hardly see the car any lower than stock. At least your happy with the handling and ride and the car looks great at that height too.

I was hoping for more of a drop as well. Once I get my new wheels, I will see how it looks then. Anyways, for those who were inquiring about the Eibach springs for the 550i, these will be the springs that will be available for the US market.

You can totally tell a difference between the before and after. Looks great and a perfect option for someone wanting a subtle, yet effective elimination of wheel gap. That car is just begging for wheels now though...

Hopefully it will settle a bit more. I think the acs drop is slightly lower but not by much. IMO the H&R drop is perfect.

According to the Eibach's R&D tech's numbers, the drop should be comparable to that of RD springs (1.0" in the front and 0.8" in the rear). As I have not seen many 550i lowered with stock wheels, I have nothing to reference.

I just posted some pics of my car (crappy phone pics) in this thread if you needed some comparisons. I have a 550i on H&R's.

How is the handling, cornering and performance of these springs compared to stock? How is the ride now in sport and comfort mode?

My priority is more on improving the handling. Thank you for any feedback you can provide.
