Ugh! It's a great spring night in Texas so after dinner I decided to install the amp. The parts came off easily, but then I ran into a major snag. I've PMed Nelson for help.

My issue is I can't match up the connections from the old amp into the new one. I suspect I'm doing something wrong, but I tried nine ways to Friday to plug and play and I couldn't make any of the connections work.

I've emailed Nekson but also reached out to their local installer in Houston to see if they can help.

I've attached a couple of pictures, so if you see anything I'm missing please tell me. The main white female connector from the old amp doesn't seem to match up with the large black connector on the Bimmertech.

I've attached a few pictures and would appreciate any suggestions. The BavSound Stage 1 install went so well that I was surprised how difficult the amp install is being. Again, it's likely me, but still very frustrating.

Nelson bailed me out! I'd removed the Bluetooth com box, Not the amp.

A quick glance with the flashlight and I found the amp. Should be an easy completion in the morning.

Bro, sometimes the only way to learn is to go ahead and do it. I see no drama here, just someone doing something for the first time. As with many things, it seems straight forward until things are taken apart

Hey thanks for this! I appreciate it. I think I got a little cocky with how well the Stage 1 went and without the step by step video for the amp that I had with the Stage 1 and that I wasn't really sharp after being at work at 5:30 am today and it was the perfect storm. I'm confident I'll have it jamming early tomorrow morning and I can continue my long weekend of upgrades and detailing.

Next up, BR-1 tune.

You did not disconnect the Bluetooth... that was the Flux Capacitor! It's what makes time travel possible in your car lol! good to hear Nelson was able to respond! Hopefully you can take some more pictures as you go along with your project this weekend!

I'm such a dumbass. Amp is awesome sounds great. Bluetooth not working. Moved to detailing and car looks amazing. More to follow but it's date night. [IMG][/IMG]

I'll do a full write up later, but after wash, clay bar, paint correction heavy polish on some areas, then finishing polish over the rest of car, then sealer/glaze. Will finish with wax tomorrow. She looks great.

The amp is great, but I can only use it for XM, radio, and CDs, so until I get the Bluetooth back to where I can stream or access music via USB, I'm going to hold off. But clearly the sound is really pushed well through the BavSound State 1s, it's crisp, clear, pure, and powerful.
