Remote Closing of Boot Lid

Feel such a fool. Have had my BM just over a year and have only just found out that holding remote boot button on the fob whilst the boot is open will close it - I have the electric boot.

This was my key thing to get coded and seems I've had it all along
I really should RTFM a little more.

You can code it so you don't have to hold down the button, a simple press will suffice. Of all the coding I've done on my car this is the one I use daily.

Thanks Ian - that's good to know, I'll definitely get this done as although being able to close it remotely is brilliant, one press would be the icing on the cake :-)

No token is required. You only need to change the delay values.

Some more info....

You must have noticed a button to open the boot, near the bonnet open lever in driver side. This button only opens the boot, but does not close it.

With coding, you can enable the boot closure too with this button.

Yes - had noticed that and knew about coding the close function to that gspannu - will get that done at the same time as that would be useful sometimes :-)
