I miss my car

Been traveling for about 3 months now and am looking at 6 or so more this coming September... I haven't driven my car in so long and am experiencing withdrawal symptoms hahaha

Sorry for the random thread.. Just wanted to rant a bit haha

i get like that after just a few days if i'm traveling for business.

sometimes i'll have a rental and it'll feel damn good to get in my car after.

i've never been away from it as long as you though. hang in there! lol

I'm gone 6 to 9 month a year for work - a few times in the past years I have left for 1 to 3 month trips literally days after buying/leasing. Glad I'm not the only one who goes a little nuts missing my car, haha.

Ouch, that must be painful! I feel for you guys. I've been away from my car for about a week or few days at a time and I get withdrawls from that. Having a rental certainly makes you appreciate your car tenfold.

Do you guys lease? Out of curiosity, if you're away for even months to half a year or more, how do you justify the payments? Simply a luxury? Funny how even though you don't have it with you, simply "having it" makes you feel good, daydreaming about it, etc.

I travel for work occasionally to, and love coming home to my baby sitting in the garage waiting for me. You are not the only one with those feelings. We are all car nuts!

You must've not known your car included the F10 ADA (absence drive anxiety) option - a condition that occurs when the owner of an F10 vehicle has omitted the leisure to motor through open roads or everyday driving. Activated by iDrive sensors in correspondence to driver seat temperatures idling past user settings duration.
