Well...here they have car wash crew basically follow the car with "sponges" as its being rolled on the tracks and automatically sprayed with all sorts of chemicals, water and finally dried.

That's considered "hand car wash" the difference between automatic is that car never gets touched by any auto scrubbers or curtains.

Confirmed. I was curious after reading this thread, so I tried it out for myself. Start car > secure seat belt > open door > place transmission in reverse > apply throttle > the world suddenly starts coming at you from behind...

The issue was trying to reverse without having the seat belt on...

If the seat belt in engaged, BMW consider it safe to assume that a person is seated and in control of the car.

Hey, that ok if you want to trust someone making minimum wage sponging your car. What happens when they drop the sponge

So what if your car won't start. What does a tow truck driver do to get your f10 onto a flatbed. Do tow truck drivers know to remove the shift boot to get the car into neutral ?
