BMS JB Stage 1......Help Please
Hey All,
So I finally bit the bullet and purchased the BMS Stage 1 for my N63 550i. Everything went as planned - no codes/CEL, however, I do not know where to place the actual BMS box. Upon placing the BMS box on top of the ECU (in the cowl)- the outer plastic bulge pushes my hood up in the corner when shut. Currently I have the BMS box laying close to the wire entry point/main connection to the ECU until I figure out a better location. Any suggestions? Also - how many ECU "adaptations" are needed before the car is running at 100%? Difference is subtle at this point. Thank you! |

Bad Black the Legend! Thank you for the response. My concern is that if I drop this little black box next to the ECU that it will get rattled around and potentially cause an issue. Any ideas on mounting? Should I Velcro/secure this piece?

I placed mine inside the cavity where the hood hinge is (passenger side). There is a flat spot that you can place it there side way. There is enough clearance after close the hood even though it looks tight..

I used a zip tie to fasten it in tight in that spot |
