Need help with wheel offsets and tire size?
Have a 2011 BMW 550i XDRIVE. Just got it wrapped Avery satin Pearl white. Wanting to put 22s on it. I want them to sit flush and no poke or nothing like that. What offset wheels do I need and what tire size will I have to go with??

If you want to go 22", I would suggest you do suspension first, if you haven't already. You will need to run coilovers or an air suspension setup for 22's to look good.

It'll all depend on the width of the wheels you're looking at....i.e. front 8.5 or 9"/ rear 10.5 or 11". Medium offsets will work for F10's, as in front 25-35 and rear 30-40, again depends mainly on the width of the wheels. Make sure you know what you're getting yourself into when you go with 22's. Your tire aspect ratios will be 25 front/20 rear which will be like rubber bands and ride like crap, i.e. 255/25/22 and 285/20/22.

If I was looking for 22" wheels I would choose tires with a bit higher profile (245/30 front and 285/25 rear).
Wheels with spec close to the following: F: 8.5x22" ET25-30, 245/30-22 R: 10x22" ET35-40, 285/25-22 |
