Z4 35IS Front Rotors 2-pieces vs OEM F10 535I (both 348X30)

Hello guys,

My front rotors are a bit wrapped and I was looking for replacement. I saw that the Z4 35IS share the same rotor size (348X30) and hub 72,6 but have a 2-peices design (alu hats) that would save around 2 lbs of unsprung weight...

How to know if these would fit other than trying and returning the rotors if they do not work. E90 guys are upgrading their with those rotors.

Are you sure you will save 2 lbs of weight?

The OEM F10 rotors are also 2-piece design with aluminium hats.

E90 on the other hand had solid steel rotors so I understand the upgrade for those owners.

I did not know that so I guess no saving to be made....
