How many keys does the F10 support?

Going to take delivery of my F10 next Tuesday

I have ordered an extra key fob for my chauffer. How many key fobs does the F10 support in terms of setting/seat memory?

Also, my dealer mentioned that the key may arrive the day before I take delivery so they may not have enough time to program the key to the car as it takes overnight? Is this true?

Many thanks!

That's a good question. My guess is that they only support two settings. If so, one key will be identical to the other. (once agian, this is a total guess) As far as programming the car, that does seem like a long time to do it. I wonder if the Dealer has to get special programming from BMW?

Are you getting the "L" version of the car? If so, you will have to let us know how more more legroom there is in back seat and take pictures for us as well. I believe China is the only market that gets that version.

The new F10 keys support up 3 profiles per key and each profile supports 2 memories.
As with how many keys it supports, that I have no clue. Sorli.

A chauffer???? REALLY???? You are missing the point of owning the F10 but to each his own. If you get the 550 you can still feel the 450 ft lbs of torque back there. Good luck with being a rider and not a driver............

i hear you. I don't intend to ride in the back. but i do need somebody to refuel the car, wash the car, and most importantly drop off the car for me at work.

i have other cars where i will happily ride in the back......

btw. there are two questions i wanna ask. there are seat belt warning for the driver side but not for the passenger seat, is it normal?? and can i set the PDC to turn on automatically at low speed??? front and rear at the same time.
all in all the car is rapid. =) it's smooth and quiet but when you turn it to DS/sport mode it is very responsive. great car.

I see that you didn't opt for the navi. Any reason why?
I am so envious of you! I still have 3 days to go!

Nice ride! Love that creamy interior! But knowing my dogs will kill it, I stuck with my cinnamon brown.

well the reason is $. 55k HKD for the navi is just a bit too much especially in hong kong. we just go to a few routes to be honest.
we shall take more and better photos when we all meet up in october =)

I didn't order navi for the same reason, and no additional benefits as BMW connect is not available here.

On top of that BMW charges like 1k to update the maps after the fist year of service........

it is a low 10k option without tax. but i got it cheap. it's included in the so call "oder early premium package".. which has the rear view camera, automatic tailgate and automatic rear sunshade. all for 20k hkd including tax.
and i don't have any other options beside those. the car is good enough as it is. only if comfort seat isn't 50k. navi isn't 55k. and adaptive drive isn't 60k. bmwhk is really ripping us off.

I agree. When you all all those up, you might as well get a 550i.... I wrote a letter to BMW AG to complain about option prices from BMWHK. Of course, I don't get any response from them
