Does anybody know how to remove the demister vent at the front of the dash near where it meets the inside of the windscreen?

I get a knock whenever I go over a pothole, change direction or the car flexes in any way and thought that might be a good place to start.

If I push on the dash, between the speedo and the centre dash speaker I can sometimes replicate the noise. It's the only thing ruining the silent driving and I'd like to get it fixed.

Any suggestions would be a massive help
